The Northern Arizona Chapter of the Autism Society of America (NAzASA) is pleased to announce a new grant program!
What will this NAzASA grant support?
These grant funds will be made available to support families of children with an ASD and individuals who have an autism spectrum disorder. Appropriate requests could include the following: funding to attend conferences/workshops related to ASD; travel expenses to attend NAzASA meetings; therapy services, materials, and/or expenses to attend therapy sessions; special projects that would benefit individuals with ASD.
Who can apply?
Any individual who resides within the counties of Apache, Coconino, Mohave, Navajo, and Yavapai may apply for funds. Preference will be given to those who are active in the NAzASA and a member of the Autism Society of America (ASA). To join ASA, click here.
When can I apply?
The NAzASA will make available grant monies twice a year: March 1st and September 1st.
Applications may be submitted at any time prior to these due dates; however, they will only be funded if applications are received by these two dates.
You may receive grant funding only once per calendar year.

How much can I apply for?
Grants of any amount, but no more than $2000 may be requested in a single grant application.
How will my application be evaluated for possible funding?
Once your application has been received, it will be reviewed by at least 4 members of the NAzASA board. All applications will be reviewed to make sure it meets the guidelines specified. Each application will then be rated for potential benefits, extent of need, and reasonableness of costs. NAzASA will select applications to fund based on the monies available. All applicants will be notified by the funding dates (March 1 or September 1).
